The Seine-Scheldt Network was present at the 2024 International Transport and Logistics Exhibition (Salon International du Transport et de la Logistique), which was held from 19 to 21 March at the Parc des Expositions in Villepinte (Seine-Saint-Denis).
As a co-exhibitor next to the VNF (Voies navigables de France) stand, the Seine-Scheldt EEIG presented to transport and logistics professionals the benefits of the future wide-gauge river network, which is gradually being implemented by the 4 operators: VNF, Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe (SCSNE), Service public de Wallonie (SPW) and De Vlaamse Waterweg nv (DVW).
On 21 March at noon, the representatives of the Seine-Scheldt EEIG, Stéphanie Peigney-Couderc, Deputy Territorial Director of VNF Seine Basin, and Perrine Lavelle, Secretary of the Seine-Scheldt EEIG and Head of VNF’s Europe Division, presented the progress of the network in 2023 and the outlook for 2024 to the professionals in attendance.
