A round table of the general managers of the Seine-Scheldt project was held during the Riverdating organized by VNF in Liège, Belgium, on November 27, 2019.
This round table was an opportunity to present to the economic players and more widely to the stakeholders of river transport attending this event, the challenges of the Seine-Scheldt project as well as its recent progresses.
Etienne Willame, Director General of Mobilities and Infrastructures of the Walloon Public Service, Chris Danckaerts, Director General of De Vlaamse Waterweg, Jérôme Dezobry, Chairman of the Management Board of the Seine-Nord Europe Canal Society and Thierry Guimbaud, Director General of Voies navigables de France confirmed their commitment to the implementation of the project and welcomed the partnership which brings these establishments together in favor of sustainable transport in Europe.
