A new milestone has been reached for the Seine–Scheldt Network.
The contract for the Somme Canal Bridge, a flagship structure of the Canal Seine-Nord Europe, has now been awarded.
Following a demanding three-year procurement procedure, the Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe (SCSNE) has selected the Canalieau consortium, led by Bouygues Travaux Publics, for the design and construction of the canal bridge.
Congratulations to the SCSNE teams and to all the companies involved in delivering this major infrastructure project.
This progress reflects a strong collective dynamic in support of a strategic project for regional development and inland waterway transport, backed by the European Commission as part of the development of the Seine–Scheldt Network.
